Brim was hired to support their in-house creative team with overflow consisting mainly of banner ads for Amazon and cross-promotional partner campaigns. As their market share grew, the team entrusted the Brim team with more responsibilities. Eventually, their in-house designer transitioned to another role, and we carried out all design fulfillment as Soylent’s in-house creative team.
Day-to-day responsibilities entailed:
-Providing design support for printed collateral for grocery and natural channels including posters, static clings, coupons, promo cards, hang tags
-Club launch including trays, cases, bags, and palettes
-Out-of-home (OOH) activations including wild postings, and printed and digital billboards
-Advertising including magazine ads, coupons, and inserts
-Newsletters, social posts, banner ads, and website assets
-Experiential marketing such as refrigerators, tents, info cards, apparel, stickers, booth mockups, and stand-up banners
-Packaging design for their core complete nutrition shakes
Brim was to develop deliverables to maintain and evolve the Soylent branding across all touchpoints, POS, retail, packaging, digital, sales, and innovation needs.
Soylent was named Best Rising Star at BevNET Live Winter 2018 and consistently takes the top 3 spot on Amazon’s Best Sellers list in the Meal Replacement Drinks category. Their continued distribution growth with an expanding suite of flavors and innovative new product launches including bars, powders, protein, and energy drinks, has positioned them as the leading meal replacement beverage in the market.
