Starting with a brand discovery session to align the three founders’ goals, we uncovered what were the most important attributes to convey through their branding. They wanted to communicate their values of providing premium coffee through their bold and unique style. This all while shining a light on women in coffee around the world, from producers to roasters to buyers and baristas. Their goal is to truly make an impact by working exclusively with women farmers, which in turn, affects their economic development for their entire family. An additional challenge was to highlight the success of the founders in their established mobile coffee cart business while making it clear this was a brand new product launch to target both loyal ‘On The Go Jo’ fans and coffee drinkers, who were new to the brand.
On The Go Jo’s founders leaned on our expertise in designing for beverage brands and consulted with me on the design of their coffee packaging and copy. Out of our discovery session, we established the approved Brand Recipe and core messaging. Brim ensured consistency in copy throughout their marketing collateral. We also provided design and consultation for their sell sheet, which is integral to selling to buyers. It is often the sole reference for a potential buyer to see all available products, pricing, and brand+founder overview. With the Brand Recipe complete, we wrote and edited copy to effectively tell their brand story for their website, which was integral to their launch.
Brim supported the creative efforts to launch a line of coffee and tea products by an established Black and women-owned coffee cart+events company based out of Chicago.

On The Go Jo Coffee has made a splash in their market. Their rising success has allowed them to expand their roasting and packing facilities as they grow to bring their coffees, syrups, and loose-leaf teas to homes across the country. This has allowed them to give back to community initiatives aimed to support the advancement of women.
