GOAL: Brim was tasked with adding creative input for on-screen typography for the docuseries, ‘America To Me.’ For his docuseries about race relations between students in Oak Park River Forest High School, Oscar-nominated and Emmy-winning director Steve James (Hoop Dreams, Life Itself) wanted to feature simple yet effective typography. The intention was to keep the audience’s focus on the subject matter and not to the typography itself.
GOAL: Brim to provide style direction and graphic design for ‘Zero Weeks’ documentary, about how the United States is the only developed country in the world that doesn't guarantee paid family leave for workers, For this documentary, award-winning director Ky Dickens wanted to feature on-screen graphics to illustrate certain concepts and “how did we get here'' history segments. She also wanted lower thirds and other supporting graphics that would give the film an overall unique style.
GOAL: Brim was retained to create a brand identity that represents the client as taking a differentiated and holistic approach to diversity, equity, and inclusion consultation, specifically for the education sector.
GOAL: Brim was tasked with the opportunity to construct a brand identity for a consulting firm in the justice sector that puts people at the center and strives to focus on DEI and justice as an outcome, not a system.
GOAL: Brim was hired to design a logo for The Nova Collective, a Chicago-based DEI consulting firm to redefine “business as usual” and evolve cultures across all categories.
GOAL: Brim expanded our relationship with The Nova Collective. We were enlisted to design a comprehensive suite of educational videos, comics, and eLearning modules to help facilitate DEI learning for organizations and workforces across the country, that aligned with their newly created visual identity.
