Ahhhhh, yes, it’s true! First “Brand Designer,” then “Font Designer,” then “Fine Artist.” And hopefully, by the end of 2025, we can add, “Children’s Book Author & Illustrator” to my list of titles.

After quietly working on this project for over a year with my creative and business partner, Erica Martin, we announced the title of our book on National Authors Day (November 1st).

The name of our book series will be: Proudly Nerdy, Joyously Girly

And the first book in our series will be titled, Pixelated Pearl: A Proudly Nerdy, Joyously Girly Story

Pixelated Pearl: A Proudly Nerdy, Joyously Girly Story is about Pearl, a Filipino-American tween who has a passion for combining pink and pixels! To the outside world, it appears she has a unique style. Internally, however, she feels like she’s constantly fighting to understand herself. She is proudly nerdy. But she’s also joyously girly. And, according to her, those two cannot coexist.

It’s been a challenge to fit in another endeavor amidst running Brim Branding, Font Infusions, and making my art, being a mom and wife, and now, growing my family.

I’m determined to make 2025 a joyful one by creating, creating, and creating.
